The Story So Far.......
Silvertree was created by husband and wife team Neil and Janine in the above picture, who between them bring over 30 years of industry experience, knowledge and expertise to their business.
Having risen through the ranks of the recruitment profession whilst working for some of the best known independent, national and international recruitment agencies in the UK, they had a “Jerry Maguire moment” quite literally! One Sunday evening inspired by having watched the film Jerry Maguire, Janine cracked open a rather nice bottle of Pinot Noir and they sat down and started to sketch out an idea which grew (as the Pinot went down) in to a vision of their own recruitment business. The next day armed with a sketched out business plan and their recruitment expertise, together with a strong desire to be different and a HUGE passion for the Hospitality industry, Silvertree was born.
So how are they doing so far? Over to Neill and Janine.....
The vision and the values we created for Silvertree on that night is what drives us every day in our business lives. Our vision was “To create a recruitment business based on an equal partnership between candidates and clients, to offer both parties the highest level of personal attention and to listen and respond in harmony with their needs by being both proactive and reactive. Above all, to get it right and do right by them every single time”
For us the best way we know we are achieving what we set out to do is by having happy candidates and happy clients and one of the best measures of this are the phenomenal number of recommendations and referrals we receive every week from both. We are immensely proud of what we achieved so far and hope to keep on getting it right and doing right by you.

Neil loves.....
A beer to relax on an evening and Janine’s Sunday roasts. He can be seen most mornings running round Harrogate’s famous 200 acre stray with Jake the Golden Retriever running alongside him. When he’s not out running he can often be spotted at Nuffield Gym trying in vain to cultivate a six pack.
Janine loves........
Spot the theme here - a nice bottle of red, dinner parties, trying to impress chef candidates with her cooking, cooking for family and friends, a great Bloody Mary, staying in fabulous hotels and eating in good restaurants - for research purposes naturally!
